Olimpo Area

We have rented a house in the Olimpo area of SMA for two months.聽 Can anyone please give me information about the safety and characteristics of the area?聽 Is the area only local residents or combo of local and visitors?聽 Thanks so much for your help.

For characteristics you can put "Olimpo, san miguel de allende" in Google Maps and then go to street view and see for yourself. I did and it looks mainly working class with some nice houses and stone streets. Not too bad at all as SMA has some pretty poor looking areas. They still don麓t have a KFC or Carl麓s Jr. there yet.

Thank you for your reply.聽 I previously did as you indicated, but had nothing with which to compare.聽 I could not find anything about crime in the area, but hoped to hear from someone familiar with the area.聽 Looking forward to our visit.
