hi All,

im a new Kiwi who suppose to be in Auckland this summer (in Aug). im really looking to build a new relation with the people there, and to receive some advises from the existed 草榴社区riates.

im Jordanian who spent 10 years working in Saudi Arabia & Arab Gulf Region. in my currently age (32 years old) i took the decision to move here in NZ.

im working as IT & Networking Solutions Sales Manager. hope to find a Job ASAP in NZ once i reach there .

August is not summer in NZ.Cold and wet then.

Do you have NZ citizenship ?? If not best you check the NZ Govt Immigration website to see if you qualify for a work visa.

As far as I am aware there are not many jobs in IT.

Hi stumpy,

I have a work permit. Sounds not good to hear that IT business is not that good
I believe I can only find a job in Auckland.

Best you do an online search to find out if there is work available for you. Locals will always get preference over an outsider when it comes to jobs.

If you choose to come over and start looking for work you may well run out of money before you find a job.
