Dogs Die - What Can Be Done?

roddiesho

Simba, my constant companion that accompanied me from MD. to RI. and from RI. to Northeastern Brazil is about 10 years old., adopted from Brazilian Diplomats from Honduras.  As much as I would like us to depart together...who knows. What can be done in Brazil with a loved pet when they leave us.

Can you clone Simba @ reasonable cost before illnesses or a genetic disease sets in ? Both of you get to raise the pup together.

@Gasparzinho 777 Unlike the SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN "Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. We have the technology." I just want to know how to bury him.

I would just get one of your workers to help take Simba to one of his favourite spots, or a place with great views, and let him have his peace there. No need for any permissions or fuss, as long as the hole is good and deep.... That is what we all do...

@Peter Itamaraca Great Idea! His favorite spot is the Community Park (grass, swings etc.) my Wife built for the community across from us, that he loves to play in. Wonderful Idea. Of course,/en/forum/south-america/brazil/bulls The Bulls roam around in the park

every day, so as long as they don't dig him up, it should be great.

You can have your pet cremated.  We did that with our sweet dog who died last year in Campinas.  She was cremated the same day as her death.  So now I have her ashes with me in North Carolina and I have a Brazilian dog, who we adopted in Brazil last year here in North Carolina.  I'm sure Simba is special but there are many dogs in this world that you can love as well that need you.

@Droplover My wife has a garden below a window that faces the pool next to my house. I decided that the Garden area would be the best place, however I did not think of the cremation thing. We have separate houses, all for good reason, and I share mine with Simba. Interesting idea I will run the cremation by my wife to see what she thinks.
