Moving to Bogota

Hi guys,
My name is Randy and Iam interested to move to Bogota Colombia.
Can anybody tells me how it is to live and work there?
And I would like to meet some dutch people as well.

hello,

first you have to define your budget because depending on the sector that you choose the prices can vary from COP 1'000.000 up to 3-4M COP, that is for a apt,

also there are some areas that u can pick out from, i.e downtown, chico, Unicentro.....

In bogota as in some South american countries down town is not the best place to live in...

Regarding working life, it depends on your field of expertise, but usually M-F, and i dont know how hard it is to get a job...

Hi! I have been to Bogota several times. My boyfriend is Colombian and lives there. I am trying to move there as soon as I can. Eventually I will be finding work, but I want time to settle in first. I am American and I am trying to find out what kind of visa I could possibly apply for! Anyone know???
