To the best of my knowledge, all documents necesitate translation and apostile in spanish for residency and viasa.  The best thing, to be honest, is to hire a lawyer that can assist you with this process.  If you'd like, I can recommend several to you that speak english and are located in Quito, Cuenca, Manta, and Porto Viejo.  I am decently familiar with this process and myself and my dad own a developing community in Ecuador.  If you need anything else please do not hesitate to private message me or visit: vistapacificahomes.com and you can contact us through there.

Yes, documents do need to be translated.  But, they can be done here.  I have translated birth certificates, marriage certificates, college degrees, etc for several clients.

Thank you ... we have made a note of that with your contact details. Have an excellent day!
