Will be in Cuenca in January

mirandola44

Hi, Folks.  Just looking to connect with some expats in Cuenca  for a little info and advice on touring and living there.  I may be retiring in the next few years and am interested in Cuenca as a place to live, either year-round or for at least a few months a year. I will be in Cuenca from January 15 to 20, 2013.  Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Hello,

I have been living in Cuenca since June 2011 and I will be glad to help you with any info/help about Cuenca. And we can meet when you come to Cuenca and talk about living here.

Plannimg to visit cuenca for a couple of months in jan2013, but seems that it is hard to find a really nice apartment that is furnished at a low price. What suggestions do you have

vinny66

Yes,
It's very difficult, furnished apartments are around $500 or more. You can get one for less but they're not very fancy/modern.
It depends you're looking for save money or live in a nice, modern area and  a lot of luck.
