Orchids anyone ??

when I lived in Costa Rica I had a large collection of native
species. which were probably pretty different from those that
grow in Ecuador .. esp in the higher elevations..
Anyone taken any pictures of their orchids or have an abiding
interest in sharing their Orchid experiences ?
I had a jeep and took some orchid hunters on expeditions,
and wound up on the cover of an orchid magazine standing
in a tree! that was about Nov 1974 or thereabouts.
聽 so long ago I do not even remember the name of the magazine
if in fact it was not just Orchid ?!聽 that site was called
Bajo de La Hondura. about 30 minutes east of San Jose CR.
聽 HAD ONE phalenopsis cluster (the famous corsage orchid!)
聽聽of over 100 blossoms in the crotch of a dead orange tree.
聽聽it was awesome ! routinely took people on jaunts all over
Costa Rica in my Nissan Patrol !聽 willgriffin1942@att.net

was the magazine. ive written them to ask about what month !?
but a great orchid magazine. whose the most orchid knowledgable
orchidist in Cuenca these days ?聽 you can write them
at theaos@aos.org.. the American Orchid Society..聽
