In Da Nang your best bet might be a lake in the shape of a hotel swimming pool.
Haven't seen any public BBQs in Vietnam.
Just charcoal hibachi pots on the street, burning s瓢峄漬 n瓢峄沶g. 馃敟

Don't buy a scooter right away, might be difficult to register too. Rent for a month at least, there are many kinds of motorbikes. Probably 1.200.000 vnd. I saw newer Hondas for tourists on back streets near the beach. Much nicer than the clunkers for rent in Saigon.

No they aren't used as such, but lack of moving water, etc, they aren't what you would call,pristine. Hahaha. Don't think of dipping your feet in them. I'm sure there would be an exception

i ve seen some beautiful rivers on youtube videos but your right, so far no lakes or bodies of water that look appealing at all
