Hello everyone,

Being an expat in Bulgaria can turn out to be a wonderful human, social or professional adventure... with potential moments of nostalgia and homesickness along the way.

What are your personal tips to prevent homesickness?

How do you deal with such feelings?

Are there shops or stores offering products from your home country in Bulgaria? Or maybe venues with music and ambiance from your homeland?

I just take a bus and go home for the weekend :)So can't really say I'm homesick

Dealing with Homesickness,,hmmm!,,I myself keep in touch with my Family & Friends in UK every couple of weeks,,i also allways remind myself what BG had to offer me compared to UK,which i Embrace,even tho i,ve had a few bad experiences,but good experiences far outweigh the bad,,also i remind myself i live in new country with different culture,so i adapt to BG life & not UK,s,,so i am not homesick,,,,regards eddie
