Getting admission for my 4 year old son on visit visa

Hi,

I am an Indian working as a technical consultant on employment visa. I got employment visa few days back . My son is 4 year old and my wife is a preschool teacher.
Can a school(preschool/montessori) give admission to my son who will be on visit visa since family visa can be applied only after 6 months.
If yes, please suggest me few good schools here in Muscat.

Sudeep I got admission for my kids in private schools while we were waiting for their visa. Make a list of schools you will be interested in and then visit them and tell them your situation and that you will submit the required documents once you will get these .....

Thanks a lot drasi. I have been told by few here that schools don't entertain the admission if you don't have the right visa.

To get admissions for children, their passport, with the visa stamped page copies must be submitted along with the father's resident card copy. This is at least the procedure for admissions to any Indian School.
