KGIS School In Muscat

I had registered my son in this school and I thought that because its an american school my son would fit in with all the rest of the students as we had just moved to Muscat from Virginia. My son loved his previous school and was relatively good in his studies but when he experienced the atmosphere of KGIS he scorned it. The school suffered from having a limited amount of teachers and the schools campus in general is very tiny meant to be a house. The teachers don't care about the academics of any of their students and charge really high fees just because they call themselves american. I do like their O-Level examination platform and method that are carried out from Year 10 and onward. But overall its tremendously overpriced and the quality of teachers are rubbish.

Hi David

Did you change schools ?

We are moving to Muscat at Easter, my younger two have been offered places at The British School, still awaiting to hear on my eldest .

Just wondering if you have any knowledge on other schools.
