Hi guys, I'm considering taking a job in Qatar and wondering how life would be on say 30k Qr based in Doha?
housing provided by the company, I would need to pay for beer and transport is taking a taxi a good option or should in consider a cheap car?
Is it a bit more social than say in 2010.

some info is missing here,
are u traveling alone or with family , do u have schooling or not
buying a car is better option since fuel is cheap and 30k-50k can get you a nice car, unless you want a brand new

Can you advise if I do not purchase a car is it possible to move around with taxi?
At this stage I don't know where I will be staying but I will definitely want to socialize in the evening from time to time and am unsure about the transport system especially later in the evening
